About the Artist:
Vladimir Caamano is a standup comedian and actor best known for his recurring roles on NBC’s Superstore and MARVEL’S Runaways on Hulu and the CBS police drama TOMMY starring opposite Edie Falco. A native of the Bronx, NY, Vladimir graduated from Wesleyan University and turned his sights on standup comedy immediately after. In 2015 Vladimir shot onto the scene with an impressive showing at the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal. He was the only one in his New Faces class to be chosen to perform as part of the CW Gala hosted by Howie Mandel. Vladimir used his performances to come away with a development deal with Warner Bros television to produce a sitcom about his life. Teamed up with producer Bill Lawrence the duo co-created A Bronx Life for NBC Network. In addition to his development success, Vladimir thrived in comedy, making his Comedy Central debut in 2016 and performing on Adam Devine’s House Party. That was followed by his late-night debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live and Entre Nos on HBO. In 2017 Vlad was named one of Variety Magazine’s 10 Comics to Watch. Vladimir will made his feature film debut in Vampires Vs. The Bronx alongside Chris Redd, Shea Wingham, and Zoey Saldana and produced by Lorne Michaels and directed by Oz Rodriguez. Vladimir can also be heard as the voice of Synth in the Hulu/Peacock series Trolls. He has also been seen on Brooklyn 99 on FOX and his digital food series What’s Good In Your Hood?
