About Queer Queens of Qomedy - April

April 4th national headliner and producer Poppy Champlin, is finally going to headline her highly sought after Queer Queens of Qomedy show at the Hartford Funny Bone. Poppy’s high energy and comedic longevity will finally have the full time on stage that comes with being a professional headlining comedian.
Champlin won the title of Americas’ Funniest Real Woman on the Joan Rivers show and continues to be just that. Constantly working around the country, Poppy is one of the hardest working comics in the business today. She works cruises as well as being a regular performer in P-Town. She has appeared on Comics Unleashed, Oprah, Comedy Central, LOGO, HBO, VH-1, Showtime and more. A real crowd pleaser. The second Queen to hold court and grace the stage is New York Comedian Kathy Arnold. She works all the clubs up and down the eastern seaboard, as well as produces her own shows with her company Cheesface Comedy. Sometimes referred to as “The Richard Lewis of Comedy” her motto is “You can’t make this shit up.” The third Queen to bring the royal jelly to the stage is Boston’s Comedian Chloe Cunha, a regular at the Boston Comedy Jam and hosts a Podcast in Boston called Yes HOMO, which is part of the Women in Comedy Festival Network. Sapphire Books Publishing, the Gem in lesbian literature, sponsors the Queer Queens. Make this Sunday the best Sunday of your year. Your prescription of comedy is ready of pickup.

Tickets are $25 for General admission and $40 for VIP admission, which includes a meet and greet before the show with the comedians with wine and cheese and preferred seating. www.queerqueensofqomedy.com
