Dec 4th national headliner Poppy Champlin, is bringing her highly sought after Queer Queens of Qomedy show to the Hartford Funny Bone. The Q3 show has found a home at The Bone and comic/producer, Champlin is happy to bring a rotation of national headliners to Hartford. Michele Balan is on the bill for Dec 4th and is one of New Yorks’ funniest. She recently won “Comic of The Year” from New Yorks’ Go Magazine and was a finalist on Last Comic Standing. Constantly working Michele is one of the hardest working comics in the business today. Cruises the world with all the cruise lines and is a favorite on Olivia Cruises as well. A dyed in the wool New Yorker Michele is a comics comic. Champlin is the constant in the Queer Queens rotation is has appreared on such shows as Comics Unleashed, Joan Rivers, Oprah, Comedy Central, LOGO, HBO, VH-1, Showtime and more. The third Queen to rule this stage is Ashely Gavin. Ashley Gavin is a New York based, nationally touring comedian. Her comedy has been featured on FOX, AXS TV, SeeSo, SiriusXM Comedy and she has been named Comedy Centralby Comic To Watch. Also opening the show is the song styings of Karen Grenier. Karen was voted the 2009 Boston Idol Winner and she won a song writing award from Nashvilles Music City Search and some of her songs have been featured on Dawsons Creek DVD. She starts the show at 3:30. The Queer Queens will be donating some of the proceeds to CT Pride. This show is guaranteed to be a night you will be talking about for the rest of the year.
